This program includes 11 themes, and 46 films from the 1980 onwards, juxtaposing classics and more recent films, emphasising filmmakers' distinctive personal touches in a wide range of forms, and presenting multiple aspects of a nation that rejects over-simplification. Through exploration in history, geography, culture, folklore, religion, and race spanning time and space, a bursting uproar named 'Philippines' arises among these collective oeuvres.
